EPFO notifies SOP for processing of Joint Declaration of member profile updating version-2 in EPFO

The Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has introduced a standardized process called Joint Declaration (JD) to rectify these issues. This procedure involves collaboration between members and employers to ensure accurate updates to basic profile details. Through this SOP-Joint Declaration, EPFO aims to streamline the correction process and minimize fraudulent activities related to identity changes. The SOP defines the roles of initiators, verifiers, and approvers, ensuring a systematic approach to handling modification requests. With clear guidelines and a fixed timeline for completion, this SOP brings clarity and efficiency to the correction process.
