UAN Generation and Activation Prerequisite:
- UAN generation and activation are mandatory for utilizing this new functionality, as highlighted in previous circulars, including the one issued on September 18, 2024. This ensures that all PF members, whether they are under EPS or not, have a unique identification number to facilitate accurate data capture.
Instructions for Employers:
- All Regional Commissioners (RC-I) and Assistant Commissioners (ACC) at the zonal level are instructed to ensure the 100% generation and activation of UANs for both EPS and Non-EPS PF Trust members. Employers are further guided to use the newly deployed functionality to capture data for Non-EPS members effectively.
Retrospective Data Submission:
- Exempted establishments are required to submit the ECR (Electronic Challan-cum-Return) data for Non-EPS members retrospectively, starting from August 2023. This ensures the proper accounting of all members’ data from the specified period.
Awareness and Facilitation:
- The deployment of this new functionality should be communicated to all exempted trusts and establishments, urging them to file the necessary ECRs as soon as possible. To expedite the process, special camps may be organized to achieve 100% compliance in a mission-mode approach.
Monitoring and Dashboard:
- A dashboard to monitor the UAN activation status for Non-EPS PF Trust members will soon be made available on the MIS portal. This will help in tracking progress and ensure timely completion of the task.
