Emphasizing the pivotal role of robust ports in realizing the vision of a thriving nation, the Maharashtra Governor underscored the significance of advancing India’s port infrastructure. Addressing attendees at the 35th Foundation Day celebration of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority in Mumbai, the Governor highlighted the critical link between “developed India” and well-equipped ports. During the event, pivotal agreements were inked to propel the establishment of a state-of-the-art port at Wadhwan. The Governor commended the efforts of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) representatives and JNPA officials while also unveiling commemorative publications and stamps to mark the occasion.
