The National Medical Commission vide circular dated 19.09.2022 has published the draft Establishment of Medical Colleges Regulations (Amendment) 2022. The amendment allows Universities and deemed universities having experience establishing and running fully functional recognized hospitals of 1000 beds or more and recognized medical colleges for at least two years shall be qualified to establish medical colleges.
