The Department of Health and Family Welfare vide notification dated the 29th March, 2022 has issued the draft Drugs (Amendment) Rules, 2022. The draft amendment provides that in case of disinfectants, any colors which is nonstaining shall be permissible to use. These colors is specified by Bureau of Indian Standards in IS 4707 (Part I) as amended from time to time.
