DPCC has issued an advisory on disposal of C&D waste through authorized C&D plant.

The Delhi Pollution Control Committee on 21st October 2021 has issued an advisory on disposal of Construction and Demolition (C&D) Waste through authorised C&D plants to mitigate dust from construction site.

The government departments may ensure that construction/demolition projects proponents or developers shall submit an agreement with authorised C&D plants for proper disposal of C&D waste to be generated by them before approving maps and granting permissions for construction/alteration. This is to ensure safe and scientific disposal of construction and demolition waste arising from new construction/alteration in buildings/renovation.

Further, the construction agencies and departments undertaking construction and demolition may not release payment till the contractor submits mandatorily a certificate to the effect that the C&D waste produced from the site has been delivered to the authorized C&D plant. The quantum of waste generated and deposited should be captured in the certificate.
