The Department of Telecommunication (DoT) has issued a notice of compliance to amendments in Telecom Licenses for procurement of telecommunication equipment from trusted sources. This notice was issued on 22 February, 2023.
It may be recalled that licensees are require to submit compliance reports on procurement of telecom equipment.
Additionally, the present notice directs all licensees to submit the compliance report on 1st day of January and 1st day of July of every year through Saral Sanchar Portal. The format of compliance will remain unchanged.
Moreover, the Office of DG(T), DoT HQ shall be the nodal office for ensuring the compliance submitted by licensees.
