DGFT revises the export policy of Diagnostic Kits/Laboratory Reagents/Diagnostic Apparatus

The Director-General of Foreign Trade vide its notification dated 10th June 2020 has restricted the Export of diagnostic kits, laboratory reagents & diagnostic apparatus falling under schedule 2 of ITCHS export policy.

Only those diagnostic kits/reagents as described in para 1(A) and all diagnostic instruments/apparatus/reagents as described in para 1 (B) of the notification are ‘restricted’ for exports whether as an individual item or as a part of any diagnostic kits/reagent.

All other diagnostic kits/reagents/instruments/ apparatus falling under the HS codes as specified are freely exportable subject to the submission of an undertaking by the exporter to the customs authorities at the time of export.
