The Directorate General of Foreign Trade on 27th May 2021 has notified the fee of Rs. 200 for obtaining a non-preferential certificate of origin.The Government has nominated certain agencies to issue Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin (CoO). These CoOs evidence origin of goods and do not bestow any right to preferential tariffs.
All exporters who are required to submit CoO (Non-Preferential) would have to apply to any of the agencies notified by the Government along with the following documents:
- Details of quantum/origin of inputs/consumables used in the export products.
- Two copies of invoices.
- Packing list in duplicate for concerned invoice.
- A fee of Rs.200/- per certificate.
