Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide notification dated 10th July 2023 has revised general Notes regarding Import Policy of food items. FSSAI has notified Authorized Officers to handle food import clearance at 161 food import entry points [covering 28 sea ports, 16 airports, 32 land customs stations (LCSs) and 85 inland container depots (ICDs).
The food import entry points restrictions shall be applicable for items listed in the notification. The entry points are also listed in the notification.
