The Directorate General of Foreign Trade through Trade Notice dated 6th September 2022, has extended the last date for uploading of all such Electronic Bank Realisation Certificates (“e-BRCs”), where Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies (“RoSCTL”) scrips have been issued for shipping bills till September 30, 2022.
As per the earlier notification, it was stipulated that under RoSCTIL, the rebate allowed were subject to the receipt of export proceeds within time allowed under the foreign Exchange management, Act 1999 failing which such rebate shall be deemed never to have been allowed. Further it urged all exporters to comply with the extant guidelines on realisation of export proceeds and get the process of uploading of eBRCs at the DGFT serve completed by the AD banks.
