The Directorate General of Foreign Trade on 28th September 2021 has extended the validity of the existing Hand Book of Procedures (“HBP”), 2015-20 upto March 31, 2022, which became operational with effect from 1st April 2015 and were valid upto 31st March 2020. However, there has been extensions in the validity as the government decides to continue providing benefits under various export promotion schemes in view of Covid-19 pandemic by extending the existing Policy/ Procedures.
The Objective of HBP is to implement provisions of FT (D&R) Act, Rules and Orders made thereunder and provisions of FTP (2015-20) by laying down simple, transparent and EDI compatible procedures which are user friendly and are easy to comply with and administer for efficient management of foreign trade.
