DGFT Extends Integrated Good and Service Tax (IGST) and Compensation cess exemption under Advance Authorisation, EPCG and EOU scheme up to 30.06.2022.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide its notification dated 1^st April 2022 has extended the exemption of IGST and Compensation Cess for imports under the specified export incentive schemes (i.e. Advance Authorisation, Export Promotion of Capital Goods and Export oriented units etc.) till June 30, 2022.

The following exemptions has been extended under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20.

1. Exemption from Integrated Tax and compensation Cess under Advance Authorization under Para 4.14 of FTP 2015 -20 is extended upto 30.06.2022.

 2. Exemption from Integrated Tax and Compensation Cess under EPCG scheme under Para 5.01 (a) of FTP 2015-20 is extended upto 30.06.2022.

 3. Exemption from Integrated Tax and Compensation Cess under EOU scheme under Para 6.01(d)(ii) ofFTP 2015-20 is extended upto 30.06.2022.
