The Directorate General of Foreign Trade on 23rd September 2021 has extended the export obligation period of Advance Authorisations (AA) and EPCG Authorisations till December 31, 2021, for the original or extended Export Obligation which is expiring during the period between 1st August 2020 to 31st July 2020, without any payment of composition fee.
However, this extension is subject to 5% additional export obligation in value terms on the balance export obligation on the date of expiry of the original/extended export obligation period.
Further, in case where advance authorization/EPCG authorization Holder has already obtained EO extension upon the payment of composition fee, the refund of the composition fee will not be permitted.
