The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has amended the Import Policy Conditions under ITC HS Code 2515. The amendment notification was issued on 14th March, 2023 and comes into immediate effect.
As per the previous import conditions, import of marble from Bhutan was subject to annual quota of 5882 MT. According to the amended import policy, import of 10000 MT of marble from Bhutan shall be allowed annually without Minimum Import Price subject to the following:
- possessing a valid Registration Certificate issued by DGFT
- operating on a financial year basis
