The Government of Uttar Pradesh issued notification dated 15th Jan, 2024 regarding Declaration of Public holiday on occasion of the consecration Lord Shri Ram in the temple on 22nd Jan 2024. It has been confirmed to organize the consecration of Lord Shri Ram at the Chane temple in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya on 22.01.2024. In view of the above, 22.02.2024 is declared as a public holiday in Uttar Pradesh under the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881.
Additionally, it may recalled that the Government of Uttar Pradesh had by a notification dated December 5, 2023, declared the public holidays for the entire Uttar Pradesh.
