DCI requires Dental Colleges to upload the details of students admitted in MDS / PG Diploma Course(s) at Dental Colleges for the academic session 2022-2023

The Dental Council of India (DCI) has issued a Circular requiring all Dental Colleges to upload the details of students admitted in MDS / PG Diploma Course(s) at Dental Colleges for the academic session 2022-2023. This Circular was issued on 12th January, 2023.

The details of the students must be uploaded on the DCI website on or before 14th January, 2023 (12.00 midnight). The colleges have to do so by utilising their already allotted new login credentials for admissions. Only details of students uploaded on DCI Website will be considered and any details of students received in any other format such e-mail/ hard copy will not be considered by the DCI.

It may be recalled that the Directorate General of Health Services by a notice dated 12th January, 2023 had informed the DCI that last date for NEET-PG(MDS) Counselling Schedule – 2022-23 for Special Stray Vacancy Round was extended till 14th January, 2023 for AIQ Counselling & State Counselling. Hence, the present notice reiterates the last date for uploading the details of these students as 14th January, 2023.

Failure to upload the data of the said students on the DCI website may lead to the presumption that the college authorities have not admitted such student(s) in MDS / PG Diploma Course(s) at their college for the academic session 2022-23.

Additionally, colleges are strictly warned to upload the details of only the genuine and bonafide admissions in their college. In case of furnishing any wrong / incorrect information, it shall be open to DCI to initiate action against / penalize the college.
