Dental Council of India (DCI) has issued a public circular inviting applications for Screening Test for recognition of foreign PG dental qualification upon fulfilling prescribed conditions. The circular was issued on 19th January, 2023.
The circular applies to persons who had previously applied to the DCI to appear in the Screening Test for recognition of their foreign PG dental qualification but failed or were absent in the examinations. The circular states that if such persons are willing to reappear in the Screening Test, they may apply to DCI positively by 27th January, 2023. The fee is payable by NEFT/IMPS and amounts to Rs. 10,000 plus 18% GST. This is payable to the DCI’s Saving Account specified in the circular.
The list of the eligible candidates will then be forwarded to the National Board of Examinations (NBE) New Delhi for allowing them to appear in the Screening Test. This Screening Test is scheduled to be held on 19th February, 2023.
The eligible candidates will also be informed by the DCI separately. All the eligible candidates declared by the DCI may go through with the DCI Screening Test Regulations available on the DCI’s website for the purpose of syllabus of DCI Screening Test Examination.
The NBE will directly issue the admit card to all the eligible candidates for appearing in the Screening Test. The schedule of examination has been uploaded on the NBE website.
