The Dental Council of India (DCI) has issued notices reminding dental colleges about deadlines for uploading student admission details for the academic session 2024-25 for BDS Courses and MDS / PG Diploma Courses. These notices were issued on October 16, 2024.
BDS Admissions
- All BDS student details must be uploaded to the DCI portal by November 5, 2024 (12:00 midnight).
- Only uploaded student details will be forwarded for registration with State Dental Councils.
MDS/PG Diploma Admissions
- All MDS/PG Diploma student details must be uploaded to the DCI portal by October 25, 2024 (12:00 midnight).
- Uploaded student details will be used for adding MDS qualifications to State Dental Council records.
General Instructions
Colleges are encouraged to upload student information after each counselling round, not waiting until the last minute. Colleges must upload data only for students genuinely admitted to their institution. Uploading details of students admitted elsewhere can lead to penalties. Uploads by email, hard copy, or after the deadline will not be considered.
