The Central Drug Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has issued a public notice notifying the cancellation of stakeholder meetings with the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). This notice is dated March 6, 2024.
It may be recalled that with effect from February 14, 2024, the DCGI will be meeting with stakeholders every Tuesday and Thursday (except gazetted holidays). These meetings take place in the CDSCO HQ from 5pm to 6pm. These meetings are in the form of walk-in meetings open to the public, where problems, complaints, grievances and suggestions will be heard for swift and suitable resolution.
The CDSCO has stated that due to exigency of work and other official commitments, the meetings dated 7th, 12th and 14th March, 2024 stand cancelled.
Stakeholders from outside Delhi have been requested to contact the Nodal Officer, PRO Cell for re-scheduling meetings on other dates.
