The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has announced the cancellation of the upcoming Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) stakeholder meeting scheduled for April 16th, 2024. A public notice on this cancellation was issued on April 8, 2024.
The cancellation is due to unforeseen work commitments and other official obligations of the DCGI.
It may be recalled that the DCGI will be meeting with stakeholders every Tuesday and Thursday (except gazetted holidays). This decision has been in effect from February 14, 2024. These regular walk-in meetings are held at the CDSCO headquarters from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Hence, the CDSCO has encouraged stakeholders to contact the Nodal Officer of the PRO Cell to schedule individual meetings on alternative dates. This is particularly for those stakeholders those located outside Delhi.
