The National Medical Commission (NMC) has published the Data Capturing Format: Draft Framework for Medical Colleges/Institutes. This framework was published on 6th August, 2023.
The Draft Framework provides for the capturing of data in the prescribed format on the following topics:

- Teaching-Learning Environment- Physical Psychological & Occupational
- Student Admission, Attainment of Competence & Placement Status
- Human Resource & Teaching – Learning Process
- Assessment Policy: Formative, Internal & Summative Assessment

- Financial-Resource: Recurring & non-recurring expenditures
- Community Outreach Programs and
- Quality Assurance System
