The Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide public notice dated 14 June, 2022 has issued clarification regarding import of crude soya bean oil by Tariff Rate Quota Licensees. The quantities not imported by Tariff Rate Quota Licensees by end of FY 2022-2023 shall be deducted from their proposed allocations during the next TRQ period , i.e 2023-2024.
All imports of crude soya bean oil by Tariff Rate Quota Licensees shall be used for consumption or domestic processing. It cannot be exported before or after processing.
