The central government has issued clarification regarding auctions conducted by Ministry of External Affairs. Ministry of External Affairs shall directly perform Aadhaar authentication of the bidders for the performance of Aadhaar authentication, on a voluntary basis, for authentication of bidders during registration on e-auction portal for Toshakhana for auctioning of gift items received by the Government of India functionaries from the various sources.
