The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission vide its notification dated 14th March 2022 has notified the draft Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indoor/Outdoor Medical Facilities) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2022 to further amend the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indoor/Outdoor Medical Facilities) Regulations, 2005.
CERC has invited comments from the stakeholders on the draft regulations which shall be addressed to the secretary over e-mail at asstsecy@cercind.gov.in. by 31st March 2022.
The Amendment is brought under clause 5.1 in which employees will be entitled to the reimbursement of medical expenses on actual basis for non-hospitalisation cases, for themselves and their family members including dependents on production of prescription from Authorised/notified Medical Practitioners along with bills/cash memos of medicines/tests.
Further clause 5.2 which specify “annual ceiling of expense for Super annuated employees” has been omitted.
