The Central Government has notified the Central Reserve Police Force, Constable General Duty), General Duty Cadre, Group ‘C’ Post, Recruitment Rules, 2023. These Rules have been notified on 5th April, 2023 and are effective from that date.
The Rules provide for the following:
- Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.
- Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.
- Maintenance.
- Seniority.
- Disqualification.
- Ineligibility of non-citizens of India.
- Superannuation.
- Age-limit for direct recruits.
- Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruits.
