The Central Pollution Control Board has launched a Mobile Application called the COVID 19 Biomedical Waste Tracking App (COVID19BWM App) and through circular dated 28 June 2020 has issued a User Manual for the same. The application can be used by waste generators, waste handlers, waste treatment facilities and pollution control boards for waste tracking. All Biomedical waste generator entities are mandated to register using the Application.
