The Central Government has notified the enforcement date for certain provisions of Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 in Gandhinagar District. This notification was issued on 13th March, 2023.
This enforcement date shall be in reference to certain provisions relating to the following chapters:
- Chapter IV: CONTRIBUTIONS
- Chapter V: BENEFITS
- Chapter VI: ADJUDICATION OF DISPUTE AND CLAIMS
These provisions shall come into force in all the areas of Gandhinagar district, in addition to the already notified areas of the said district, in the State of Gujarat. The date which has been appointed as the date on which they will come into force is 1st April, 2023.
