Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs vide notification dated 17-05-2024 has directed that import of consignments of producers of all the notified EEE items (106 EEEs items) under E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 shall require an undertaking to obtain EPR registration. The producers and importers shall obtain EPR Registration certificate under said rules within 30 days from the date of launch of the EPR portal for registration by CPCB.
