The regulations directs that each distribution licensee shall indicate along with sufficient proof thereof, the estimated quantum of purchase from renewable sources for the ensuing year in Tariff /Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR) petition in accordance with the regulations notified by the Commission.
Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Manner and Intervals for Conduct of Energy Audit in electricity distribution companies) Amendment Regulations, 2022
The amendment directs electricity distribution companies to Submit, in addition to annual energy audit report, the periodic energy accounting report to the Bureau and respective State Designated Agency and also made available on the website of electricity distribution company within forty-five days from the date of the periodic energy accounting.

The proceedings of the Commission shall be conducted in English, provided that the Commission shall allow any person to plead or represent his case in Marathi. Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Sharing of Inter-State Transmission Charges and Losses) (First Amendment) Draft Regulations, 2022.
Bills for transmission charges shall be raised on the buyer in terms of this clause notwithstanding any provisions in the PPA and the settlement of the transmission charges inter se between the buyer and the generating station or the seller, wherever necessary, shall be made in terms of the PPA or as per the mutual agreement.
The Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2022
The generating company or licensee shall maintain records of the maps, plans and sections relating to supply or transmission of electricity and submit the same to the Electrical Inspector for inspection as and when required by him and the licensee shall also be required to submit the records of consumers to the Electrical Inspector.
The Electricity (Promoting Renewable Energy Through Green Energy Open Access) Rules, 2022.
As per this rule, there shall be a uniform renewable purchase obligation, on all obligated entities in area of a distribution licensee.
