Deadline Extended for Comments on Imported Coal Escalation Rate Methodology
CERC issued a public notice on May 24, 2024, seeking stakeholder feedback on the proposed shift from bi-annual to monthly escalation rates for imported coal. CERC Conditions For Grant Of Transmission Licence Regulations, 2024

Distribution licensees and bulk consumers developing dedicated lines are exempt from seeking such licences. Licensees are prohibited from engaging in electricity trading.
