Haryana Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2021

The amendment has listed the officers of the Motor Vehicles Department who can exercise the powers of challan as per the rules. The challaning officers of the Police Department of and above the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector will also be deemed to be challaning officers outside municipal cities and municipal towns.

MoRTH appoints 15th July, 2021 as the date on which the provisions of section 47 of Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 shall come into force.

Section 47 under the amendment act notifies Electronic monitoring and enforcement of road safety in which the State Government shall ensure electronic monitoring and enforcement of road safety on national highways, state highways, roads or in any urban city within a State which has a population up to such limits as may be prescribed by the Central Government.

A seafarer’s employment agreement shall continue to have effect while a seafarer is held captive on or off the ship as a result of acts of piracy or armed robbery against ships, regardless of whether the date fixed for its expiry has passed or either party has given notice to suspend or terminate it.

The Central Motor Vehicles (Draft Amendment) Rules, 2021.

Through this draft amendment the compatibility of vehicle to level of ethanol blend of E12 or E15 or E20 or E85 or E100 shall be defined by the vehicle manufacturer and the same shall be displayed on vehicle by putting a clearly visible sticker.

The Central Government extends implementation of (FAME India Phase II)

The scheme was proposed to be implemented over a period of 3 years, w.e.f 1st April 2019, for faster adoption of electric mobility and development of its manufacturing eco-system in the country”. Now it is decided that FAME India Phase II
scheme is extended for a period of two (2) years i.e. up to 31st March 2024.
