PM launches National Logistics Policy
The National Logistics Policy will bring new energy to all sectors. Unified Logistics Interface Platform ULIP will bring all the digital services related to the transportation sector into a single portal, freeing the exporters from a host of very long and cumbersome processes. Similarly, under the policy a new digital platform Ease of logistics Services -E-Logs has also been started.
MoRTH Publishes the Motor Vehicles (Registration and Functions of Vehicle Scrapping Facility) Amendment Rules, 2022.
The registered owner shall apply digitally on Vahan as per Form-2 to the Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility or the designated Collection Centre for deposit and further treatment of the vehicle.

No application for trade certificate shall be refused by the registering authority unless the applicant is given an opportunity of being heard and reasons for such refusal are given in writing. Trade certificate along with dealership authorisation certificate shall be exhibited at a conspicuous place at show room and workshop or service center.”
MoRTH notifies Draft notification to promote ease of doing business and transparency in the sale and purchase of registered vehicles through dealers
An authorization certificate for the dealers of registered vehicles has been introduced to identify the authenticity of a dealer.
The Central Motor Vehicles (Draft Amendment) Rules, 2022.
Through this amendment, rule 115 which deals with emission of smoke, vapour, etc. from motor vehicles, in which the table relating to the applicability of test requirement for BS-VI has been substituted.
Indian Standards mandated for Constant speed fuel consumption test
Constant speed fuel consumption test for all M and N category vehicles excluding tippers, with gross vehicle weight more than 3.5 tonnes shall comply with Indian Standard: 11921: 2020 as amended from time to time.
