Through this amendment, rule 115 which deals with emission of smoke, vapour, etc. from motor vehicles, in which the table relating to the applicability of test requirement for BS-VI has been substituted.

Constant speed fuel consumption test for all M and N category vehicles excluding tippers, with gross vehicle weight more than 3.5 tonnes shall comply with Indian Standard: 11921: 2020 as amended from time to time.
Revised deadline for compliance with Automotive Industry Standards by manufacturers of battery operated vehicles
The earlier notification is amended to provide that all manufacturers of battery operated vehicles shall comply with AIS-38/2003 within1st day of October, 2022.

The person driving the motor vehicle shall keep all the documents in his possession at the time of entering in India and during the entire period of stay, and shall always make available for inspection by the competent authority.

Central Motor Vehicles (Fourteenth Amendment) Rules, 2022
The International Driving Permit shall be printed in the revised Form 6A substitute under this amendment. The permit shall be a booklet in format A6 (148 x 105 mm).
Revised National Civil Aviation Policy, 2016
The Boeing 787 aircraft is exempted from GAGAN compliances by virtue of the amendment. The exemption shall be valid till 31st December, 2025.
