Continuation of Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund
The Union Cabinet, led by the Prime Minister, has approved the extension of the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) under the Infrastructure Development Fund (IDF) for an additional three years until 2025-26. The scheme, with a budget of Rs.29,610.25 crore, aims to encourage investments in various sectors such as Dairy processing, Meat processing, Animal Feed Plants, Breed multiplication farms, Animal Waste to Wealth Management (Agriculture waste management), and Veterinary vaccine and drug production facilities.

Directorate of Planning, Statistics and Evaluation, Government of Goa, has informed that Aadhaar is a random 12 digit Unique Identification Number issued to a resident to establish the resident’s unique identity which cannot be reassigned to any other individual. However, Aadhaar is mandatory especially where proof of Aadhaar is condition/pre requisite for receipt of Government subsidy, benefit or service.
Government of Delhi introduces Scheme to Empower people with Disabilities
Delhi government has introduced the “Sugamya Sahayak Scheme,” with the objective of empowering individuals with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBDs) by improving their mobility and capabilities. Spearheaded by Delhi’s Minister of Social Welfare, this initiative is a long-awaited program of the government designed to enhance Mobility and Capability, opening doors to newfound independence and prospects for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBDs).
Navy Radar Station in Telangana
The Indian Navy has designated Telangana as a strategic base, with plans underway to establish the nation’s second Very Low Frequency (VLF) communication transmission station in the Vikarabad district. VLF communication transmission stations play a crucial role in facilitating communication with ships and submarines. The upcoming station will be situated in the Damagudem forest area near Puduru in the Vikarabad Mandal. This marks the second such facility in the country, with the first being the INS Kattabomman Radar Station in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, serving the Navy since 1990.
