Government of New Delhi issued notification regarding Paid holiday due to Lok Sabha Election and Bye-Election

The Election Commission of India has declared the General Election to Lok Sabha and Bye-elections to Assembly constituencies of various States. Accordingly, the Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh, through letter no. 358/tc/Eo-2-09/2-2024 dated 19th March 2024 addressed to the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, has requested the granting of holidays to employees working in Delhi on the polling dates of the respective Parliament and Assembly Constituencies of Uttar Pradesh.

IIT Hyderabad Cluster secures major funding for innovative CISCoM center establishment

The IIT Hyderabad Cluster has secured a 60 crore grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) as part of the Sophisticated Analytical and Technical Help Institutes (SATHI) scheme. It’s noteworthy that only three clusters have been chosen under this SATHI scheme call. The proposed IIT Hyderabad center, known as the Center for In-Situ and Correlative Microscopy (SATHI-CISCoM), will serve as the cornerstone for advanced characterization.
