Goa Government Proposes Amendments To Child Labor Regulations

The proposed amendments to the child and adolescent labour regulations include renaming the rules to include “Adolescent” and defining key terms. The new rules aim to raise public awareness, allow children to help their families and work as artists under strict guidelines, and omit restrictions on certain occupations. They also establish procedures for payments from the Child and Adolescent Labour Rehabilitation Fund and limit adolescents to working no more than 5 hours a day in applicable establishments.

Haryana Government Issues Amendment In Haryana Right To Information Rules, 2009

The Haryana government re-emphasised on the earlier introduced FORM-A, requiring RTI applicants to provide proof of identity, as per the Haryana Right to Information (Amendment) Rules, 2021. The government has found that public authorities are not adhering to the rules, and some State Public Information Officers are processing applications without this requirement.
