Goa Pavilion receives special appreciation award at IITF Delhi

The Goa Pavilion has been awarded the Special Appreciation Medal for Excellence in Thematic Presentation (State), at IITF 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The Director of Information & Publicity, along with Founder & CEO of the Event Management Agency, M/s Advertising Associates handed over the certificate and trophy to the Chief Minister of Goa. The Goa Pavilion highlighted the Swayampurna Program 2.0 to match the theme of the trade fair ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

PM lays foundation for Projects worth 2,000 crores in Maharashtra

The Prime Minister, laid the foundation stone of 8 AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) projects worth around Rs. 2,000 crores in Solapur, Maharashtra today. Shri Modi dedicated to the nation more than 90,000 houses completed under PMAY-Urban in Maharashtra and 15,000 houses of Raynagar Housing Society in Solapur, whose beneficiaries comprise thousands of handloom workers, vendors, power loom workers, rag pickers, Bidi workers, drivers, among others. He also initiated the distribution of 1st and 2nd instalments to 10,000 beneficiaries of PM-SVANIDHI in Maharashtra during the program.

This is applicable to industrial workers of the State of Goa, daily wage workers of the Government Departments and State Government Industrial Departments, commercial and industrial workers of private establishments in the State of Goa, all private establishments and daily wage/casual workers employed in any business, trade, industrial undertakings or any other establishments provided they are the voters for the aforesaid Bye election.

Insecticides (First Amendment) Rules, 2024

This amendment has extended the deadline for compliance with the new packaging and labeling requirements that were notified in the Insecticides (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023. The deadline for compliance of these new norms has been fixed as December 23, 2023.

BIS Revises Standards for Metals, Textiles, Shoes, Boiler Water Treatment

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has introduced certain standards for BIS Revises Standards for Metals, Textiles, Shoes Boiler Water Treatment. These notifications were published on January 16, 2024. These standards have been established on January 13, 2024. The previous versions of these standards shall stand withdrawn on April 13, 2024 or July 13, 2024 as the case may be.
