Ministry of Electronics & IT(MeitY) has issued a press release on the setting up of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) centres. Government of India is focused to expand the digital opportunities to smaller & newer towns in the country and to ensure that every young Indian can be a participant in the one trillion-dollar digital economy vision.

BIS publishes Three Indian Standards in the area of Electronics

The Bureau of Indian Standards has published three significant Indian Standards in the area of Electronics. The Insecticides (Amendment) Rules, 2021

A person who applies for the grant of license to sell, stock or exhibit for sale or distribute insecticides commonly used for household purpose only and registered as such shall be deemed to have granted a license if the licensing officer did not grant him license after expiry of a period of ninety days from the date of submission of his application.

The Drone Rules, 2021

No person shall operate an unmanned aircraft system in India unless such unmanned aircraft system conforms to a type certificate or is exempted from the requirement of a type certificate. Any person, who intends to obtain a type certificate, shall make an application in Form D-1 on the digital sky platform.
