The CPCB has revised the guidelines for Handling, Treatment, and Disposal of Waste Generated during Treatment/Diagnosis/ Quarantine of COVID-19 Patients by suppressing its earlier guidelines issued on 10th July 2020. The revised guidelines provide guidance on the segregation of general solid waste and biomedical waste from quarantine centers/home-care/healthcare facilities treating COVID-19 patients and to recommend on disposal of PPEs.

The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority of India on 10th July 2020 has fixed retail prices of 7 formulations under Drugs Prices Control Order 2013, the name of the formulation includes Nebivolol + Telmisartan Tablet, Levetiracetam + Sodium Chloride Infusion, Norethisterone Acetate Tablet etc.
ICMR provides District-wise login credentials for rapid antigen testing for COVID-19
In a further effort to facilitate and further liberalize the testing, lCMR has generated five common login credentials for each district of every State/ UT, which may be shared with all Government and private facilities selected for antigen testing. The States shall nominate a nodal person who shall collect login credentials from ICMR and distribute the same.
