Medical Devices (Amendment) Rules, 2021
When no relevant Standard is laid down by Bureau of Indian Standards for any medical device, such device shall conform to the standard laid down by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electro Technical Commission (IEC), American Standard Test Method (ASTM) or any other pharmacopoeia standards.

License for import of cosmetics granted before issue of Cosmetic Rules, 2020 shall continue to remain valid
The license for import or manufacture of cosmetics granted as per Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 before issue of Cosmetic Rules, 2020 shall continue to be valid till their expiry or for eighteen months from issue of the Cosmetic Rules, whichever is later.
