CDSCO has allowed submission of self attested documents for Import registration of cosmetics

The applicants are allowed to submit the self attested documents along with an undertaking that they will submit the notarized/apostilled documents with legal signatures after obtaining the same from the concerned authority. The notarized/apostilled documents with legal signatures shall be submitted within four months or after the Covid situation is normalized, whichever is earlier.

Advisory for activation of Government and Private Covid facilities

The Government and Private Covid facilities which were functionalized during the 1st phase of Covid-19 pandemic shall be activated in a phase wise manner with an increment of 50 beds at a time when needed. The number of ICU shall be 20o/o of general beds and availability of ventilators shall be at least 50% of all lCUs.

MoHFW Publishes the Drugs (3rd Amendment) Rules, 2021.

The Amendment brings in Tapentadol, a synthetic opioid analgesic under Schedule H1 to regulate its sale, distribution and prevent its abuse and Schedule H1 stipulates that the drug can be sold only on prescription.
