Karnataka Government Amends Compulsory Service Rules For Medical Graduates

The amendments include adding definitions for exemption and salary, establishing a Grievance Committee, detailing the process for assigning candidates to compulsory service, prioritizing candidates during counseling, and outlining computerized counseling procedures. The Competent Authority may grant permission for higher studies upon submitting an affidavit committing to the remaining part of compulsory service.

Chhattisgarh Government Amends Chhattisgarh (AYUSH) Service Recruitment Rules, 2022

The Chhattisgarh government has amended the Chhattisgarh Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department’s Service Recruitment Rules, 2022, to include the recruitment of District AYUSH Officers with a pay scale of 67300 213100 (Level-13). The changes require 80% Ayurveda Medical Officers, 15% Homoeopathy Medical Officers, and 5% Unani Medical Officers. Educational qualifications include a graduate degree, internship, and five years of working experience in government institutions.

Karnataka Government Mandates Public Display Of KPME Registration And Establishment Details

All Private medical establishments registered under the Karnataka Private Medical Establishment Act, 2007 must prominently display their owners/ managers names, KPME registration certificate, and system of medicine practiced for public information. If any private medical establishment fails to comply with these instruction, the DH&FWOs are directed to initiate statutory action against such establishments.
