The Surrogacy (Regulation) Rules, 2022.
Surrogacy clinics shall have at least one gynaecologist, one anesthetist, one embryologist and one counselor. The clinic may employ additional staff by the Assisted Reproductive Technology Level 2 clinics; normally Director, Andrologist and shall appoint such staff as may be necessary to assist the clinic into day-to-day work.

These guidelines shall be mandatory teaching material in all institutions of medical education under National Medical Commission offering competency based post graduate training programme for broad specialty and super specialty subjects.
Telangana government adopts Clinical Establishments Act (Registration and Regulation), 2010
All the healthcare facilities are mandated to register themselves with the District Registering Authority (DRA) in each district. The DRA can grant, renew, suspend and cancel registration of any hospital and can also investigate complaints of breach and enforce compliance of the provisions and rules of the Act.
Medical Devices (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2022
The amendment has exempted the requirement of Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs) or Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) Certificates for import, if the source is from an animal species from a country of origin recognized as having negligible Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy risk in accordance with the recommendations of the World Organization for Animal Health.

The ART clinic shall ensure that all unused gametes or embryos shall be preserved by the assisted reproductive technology clinic for use on the same recipient and shall not be used for any other couple, or as the case may be, woman and it shall ensure that no pre-implantation genetic testing shall be done for sex selection for non-medical reasons or selection of particular traits due to personal preferences of the prospective parents or to alter or with a view to alter the genetic constitution of an embryo.
