National Cancer Grid (NCG) Establishes New Centre for Digital Oncology to improve Cancer Care using Digital Technologies.

The National Cancer Grid (NCG) is an initiative of the Government of India through the Department of Atomic Energy and its grant-in-aid institution, the Tata Memorial Centre, to create a network of cancer centres, research institutes, patient groups and charitable institutions across India with the objective of developing uniform standards of patient care for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.

The Drugs (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2022.

Where an application under this rule is for the manufacture of drug formulations falling under the purview of new drug under rule 80 of the New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules, 2019 or rule 122B, the licence to manufacture for sale or distribution of the drugs shall be granted after approval of the drug as new drug.

NHA issues hardware guidelines for healthcare institutions at State/ UT level to facilitate effective implementation of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.

The guidelines describe the required infrastructure for efficient implementation of the program with a particular focus on quality patient care and adoption of digital initiatives under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). ABDM will simplify the processes and increase ease of living by connecting the digital health solutions of hospitals and other health facilities across the country with each other.
