The Medical Devices (Sixth Amendment) Rules, 2022.
The registration number for a Class A non-sterile and non-measuring medical device shall be generated after furnishing of the information in accordance with rule 19H on the Online System for Medical Devices established for this purpose.
New Drugs and Clinical Trials (Third Amendment) Rules, 2022
The registration shall be deemed to be legally valid for all purposes and the applicant shall be authorized to initiate clinical trial in accordance with the rules.
The Indian Nursing Council (Diploma in Public Health Nursing), Regulations, 2020.
The Diploma in Public Health Nursing (DPHN) is a one year training program and its curriculum is conceptualized encompassing foundational short courses and major specialty courses for public health nursing and management. The foundations to public health nursing such as applied microbiology and pathology, Nutrition and food safety, Information, Education and Communication including individual and family education and counselling and the major specialty courses are organized under Community Health Nursing-I & Community Health Nursing-II.
The Surrogacy (Regulation) Amendment Rules, 2022.
The intending couple/woman shall sign an affidavit to be sworn before a Metropolitan Magistrate or a Judicial Magistrate of First Class or an Executive Magistrate or a Notary Public giving guarantee as per the clause (q) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021.
PCI issues clarification on minimum qualification for pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.
The Central Government on the recommendations of the Pharmacy council of India constituted under section 3 of Pharmacy Act, 1948, decided that a person holding the Pharm D qualification being higher qualification shall automatically become eligible for appointment to various posts where a person holding diploma in pharmacy or bachelor of pharmacy or master of pharmacy qualification is eligible to be appointed.
ESIC extends medical benefits under Employees’ State Insurance (Medical Benefit) Rules, 1955 to Krishnagiri, Tiruchirappalli & Perambalur
The medical benefits under the Tamil Nadu Employees’ State Insurance (Medical Benefit) Rules, 1955 shall be provided to the families of insured persons in these areas.
NPPA has fixed the retail price 40 formulations under the Drugs (Price Control) Order 2013.
As per para 24(4) of DPCO 2013, every retailer and dealer shall display price list and the supplementary price list, if any, as furnished by the manufacturer, on a conspicuous part of the premises where he carries on business in a manner so as to be easily accessible to any person wishing to consult the same.
Deemed license for import/manufacture of Class A or Class B Medical Devices
The importer/manufacturer can continue to import /manufacture the said device(s) up to 6 months from the date of issue of this order or till the time, the Central Licensing Authority or State Licensing Authority, as the case may be, takes a decision on the said application, whichever is earlier.
The Medical Devices (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2022.
As per the new rule, the State Licencing Authority shall appoint Licensing Authorities for the purpose of issuing registration certificate under this Part for such areas as may be specified. Any person who intends to sell, stock, exhibit or offer for sale or distribute a medical device including in vitro diagnostic medical device, shall make an application in Form MD-41 to the State Licensing Authority for grant of registration certificate to sell, stock, exhibit or offer for sale or distribution.
NMC directs medical colleges to submit affidavit for renewal or increase of intake of MBBS seats
Upon failure to submit affidavit in the prescribed format, the application for renewal shall not be considered during the academic year 2022-2023.
