DigiLocker users can now digitally store health records and link them with Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA).
DigiLocker had earlier completed level 1 integration with Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) wherein the platform had added ABHA or Ayushman Bharat Health Account creation facility for its 13 crore users. The latest integration will now enable users to utilize DigiLocker as a Personal Health Records (PHR) app.

The amendment clarifies that if a person has acquired MBBS qualification in India and PG qualification from any of the five English speaking countries, then he/she shall be eligible for registration in India as specialist and if, after acquiring PG qualification, he/she has been working in a teaching hospital, then depending on his/her teaching experience in medical sciences, he/she shall be considered for teaching job in medical college in India.

The Kendras, in collaboration with the public representatives have been running campaigns to clean their Kendras as well as the surrounding areas so as to spread the message. The cleanliness drive has already been conducted at 5974 sites, majority of the sites being Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras. NIPER, Guwahati has conducted special cleaning activities in nearby market and school, in addition to their own campus in Guwahati. All offices of the department and other agencies have also conducted cleanliness activities.

State Governments directed to implement Pharmacy Practice Regulations 2015
The Pharmacy Practice Regulations 2022 shall be implemented immediately by the state governments. As the health sector falls in the concurrent list, the Regulations shall supersede all state laws.
