These notified bodies are registered with the CDSCO to carry out audit of manufacturing site under the provisions of MDR 2017. This notice publishes 13 entities that will now be authorised to carry out audits of these manufacturing sites.

MoHFW publishes its report on Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had launched Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav on 17th September 2022, the drive witnessed an extensive participation from the donors. During the 15 day drive, 11,868 camps were approved and 4,19,642 donors registered for voluntary blood donations.
Bihar State Institute of Mental Health and Allied Sciences (Amendment) Rules, 2023
The amendment further clarifies that the management of the institute shall be vested in a Management Committee, and also provides for constitution of the management committee.

Manufacturers & Importer requested to provide information on Medicines under CGHS
The Addl. Director, Medical Stores Depot, CGHS is now requesting manufacturers / importers to provide information on the specified list of medicines. The memorandum lists 86 medicines on which information is requested. The intent behind seeking this information is to access the local manufacturing capacity and identify local potential suppliers.
Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulations) Amendment Rules, 2023
The Amendment Rules introduce a provision for transfer of gametes and embryos for personal use within or outside India. The Rules state that any person intending to transfer their own gametes and embryos for personal use within or outside India shall apply or furnish declaration in Forms 16 to 24, as may be applicable. Such person shall also obtain the prior permission of the National Board.
MoHFW issues Guidelines for Streamlining the Supply of Indented Medicines by Authorised Local Chemists
All ALCs are required to stamp ‘CGHS Supply not for Sale’ on ever medicine strip, pack, flap, bottle, tube, sachet, vial supplied to CGHS with indelible ink. CMOs I/C shall check the online indent before submission to ALC to ensure that non-permissible items and items that are available in the wellness centre are not indented. Additionally, the guidelines also increase the penalty for delay in supply or non-supply of indented items by the ALC.
