CDSCO updates its approved FDC List
It may be recalled that on 5th February, 2023, the CDSCO had issued a list of FDCs for obtaining manufacturing licenses directly from the State Licensing Authorities. The CDSCO has observed certain typographical errors in that list. Hence, the CDSCO has issued an updated list of FDCs.
The Surrogacy Regulations, 2023
The regulations provide that if the appropriate authority is of opinion that there exists an eligibility condition for surrogacy it may be sent to the National Board for consideration and approval before issuing the eligibility certificate. This eligibility condition refers to a condition other than those mentioned in the Surrogacy Act, 2021.

Stocking small quantities of medicine will not amount to the offence of unauthorized stocking of medicines as per Section 18(c) of Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940
A Two Judge Bench of the Supreme Court comprising of Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice Krishna Murari recently passed a Judgment dated 15-03-2023 in the matter of S. Athilakshmi vs The State represented by the Drugs Inspector quashing criminal proceedings initiated against a doctor for stocking small quantities of medicine.
Online portal for filling up details of candidates who took admission in PG super specialty courses shall be reopened
Portal shall also be open for broad specialty courses for those colleges which could not fill up the admission data previously due to technical reasons.
