Union Health Minister Launches Indian Public Health Standards for AYUSH healthcare facilities

Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) for Ayush Healthcare facilities were published by the Union Health Ministry as a set of uniform standards to improve the quality of health care delivery. By adopting these reforms, it is expected that the States/UTs will be able to develop Ayush healthcare services with set standards and quality infrastructure, thereby enabling the public to avail the benefits of Ayush medical services for all healthcare.

CDSCO Directs Cosmetics Importers to Comply with Cosmetics Rules, 2020

All applicants importing cosmetics under COS-4A are now directed to furnish an annual statement to the Central Licensing Authority. This statement should comprehensively outline details such as the number of consignments and bill of entries for each consignment, the imported quantity in each consignment, total cost of imported cosmetics per consignment, warehouse details where the products are stored for further distribution and sale, among others.

NPPA Fixes Ceiling Price of Several Formulations under Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013

The manufacturer shall issue a price list in Form–V from date of Notification to NPPA through IPDMS and submit a copy to State Drug Controller and dealers. Every retailer and dealer shall display price list and the supplementary price list, if any, as furnished by the manufacturer, on a conspicuous part of the premises where he carries on business in a manner so as to be easily accessible to any person wishing to consult the same.
